The switching contacts of the RZ relay perform remarkably well, 50,000 cycles at 85C ambient temperature and 16A switching current. The relay is VDE approved and UL recognized.
The RZ relay range comprises single-pole relays with normally open or changeover contacts, and offers a choice of AgNi or AgSnO contact materials. Standard 85C ambient temperature models are available, as are 105C versions and models with transparent covers. The rated coil power is 400mW. The product fulfills the glow wire test according to IEC60335-1 and is RoHS compliant.
Tyco Electronics RZ relay is produced on a fully automated production line in Waidhofen, Austria, and is available on short lead times.

New Product from Tyco – Power entry modules
Easby are pleased to announce the new Tyco CU Series. Tyco Electronics has added the CU series to the company’s family of Corcom power entry modules. This series includes smaller-sized versions of switched filtered and unfiltered power inlets, which are ideal for applications with panel space constraints, in particular systems designed for the popular 1U height equipment racks.
The CU series offers 15 filtered and eight unfiltered versions to cover a broad array of applications. Shrouded quick connect terminals eliminate the need for soldered connections, which reduce installation time. The series allows higher system efficiency by contributing less heat – making it suitable for applications with power or cooling limitations.
The modules offer three different mounting styles:
Flush mount
Flange
Snap-in
Current ratings range from 1 to 15A and the product is UL recognized, CSA certified and VDE approved.
