Holystone - Halogen free multilayer and ceramic capacitors

Easby can now offer Holystone’s ranges of commercial and safety certified disc capacitors together with its multilayer radial and axial leaded ceramic capacitors, which now meet the international requirements for Halogen Free components. Halogen free generally refers to maximum bromine and chlorine level of 900ppm each, or a combined total of 1500ppm. Holystone Halogen free products already meet the required Halogen free limits.

Legislation is driving the need for more environmentally friendly alternatives to halogenated materials, including the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and JGPSSI (Japan Green Procurement Survey Standardization Initiative) directives.
