Easby sign switch manufacturer Cherry

Easby are pleased to announce a new franchise agreement with switch manufacturer Cherry Electrical Products.

Michael Groom, General Manager at Cherry said “We were looking for a distributor who was able to create new business opportunities for us. We are confident that Easby’s 27 years in the business and well-developed customer network will allow us to reach many new clients, especially those requiring non-standard components for specialist applications.”

Easby’s portfolio will now include Cherry’s micro, rocker and Hall Effect switches, including assemblies (switch, cable and PCB). Now we are able to provide our customers with an even larger range of switch products and a whole new range of value-added products, strengthening Easby’s position in the market.”

Cherry switches and control assemblies allow automotive manufacturers to offer their customers products that include door, seat and console controls, intelligent door latch and lock systems, advanced steering wheel and instrument panel controls and leading-edge seat belt sensors.
